Was Peter The First Pope?

Saint Andrew's Celtic Church will teach a series on the question of whether Peter was the first pope or Bishop of Rome. The study will be led by Bishop John Dillard each Sunday morning at 10 AM at the church. The series will examine what the scriptures say as well as what the Early Church Fathers had to say on the subject. The public is invited to attend.

Upcoming Studies

The Holy Bible

This study will look at how the books that are in the New Testament came into being, including exploring who wrote them and how they were chosen for placement in the canons. The Gnostic writings and "lost" books will be examined along with the texts the early Celtic Church used as their bible.

Pre Nicene Church Study

Saint Andrew's Celtic Church in Swannanoa, North Carolina is currently holding a teaching series on the Pre Nicene Church. The series is being taught by the Rt. Rev. John Dillard, Bishop of the Province of St. Brendan and a historian on the early church. The public is invited to attend this teaching series each Sunday morning at 10 AM at the church.

End Times

Saint Andrew's Celtic Church will offer a study on the End Times and examine what the bible really says about the end of times. The study will look at the words of Jesus as well as those of the Early Church Fathers who were closest to the apostles. The study will be led by Bishop John Dillard and Rev. Ron Shelton.
